This policy provides information on the cookies and similar technologies used on foenjewelry.com by FOEN TASARIM VE MÜCEVHERAT SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("FOEN"). General information on the processing of personal data, application methods and rights is set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They may serve different purposes, such as maintaining the session, remembering the shopping bag, security, storing preferences, usage analytics and advertising measurement.
Pixels, local storage and similar tracking technologies may also process information for similar purposes. Even if they are not technically cookies, they are subject to the relevant information and consent rules where they process personal data. Deleting a cookie in your browser does not automatically delete data that has already been transferred to a server.
3. Categories and Legal Grounds
Strictly necessary cookies: These enable operations necessary to provide the requested service, such as the shopping bag, session, security, checkout flow and remembering privacy preferences. Depending on the specific purpose, the appropriate condition among Articles 5(2)(c), 5(2)(ç), 5(2)(e) or, provided that fundamental rights are not harmed, 5(2)(f) of the KVKK is relied upon. Analytics or advertising cookies that are not genuinely necessary for the service are not included in this category.
Preference and functionality cookies: These remember non-essential display, language or other usage preferences. Explicit consent is required for uses that are not an essential part of the requested service and for which no other processing condition exists.
Analytics and performance cookies: These process information for purposes such as assessing page usage, visits and interactions. Except in limited cases where a legal condition other than explicit consent is specifically present, explicit consent is required under Article 5(1) of the KVKK. Knowing the name of the analytics tool or the tool's use of an identifier does not automatically anonymise the data.
Advertising and marketing cookies: These serve purposes such as campaign measurement, retargeting and serving interest-based advertising. Activity-specific explicit consent is required for such processing; shopping or visiting the website does not, in itself, constitute consent.
4. Infrastructure and Service Providers on the Website
FOEN's e-commerce infrastructure is Shopify. In addition to Shopify's store and checkout functions, the website includes Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel integrations. Their technical presence on the page does not mean that all of their cookies are stored for every visitor and in all circumstances; their use depends on the settings of the relevant service, the browser and the applicable preferences.
Shopify services may be used for store, shopping bag, checkout, account and related security processes; Google Analytics for usage analysis and measurement; and Google Ads and Meta services for advertising interaction and campaign measurement. Contact, appointment, form and product option applications may process the information necessary for the function you use. The fact that an application is installed on the page does not make every data processing activity of that application a necessary cookie.
5. Retention Period and Recipients
Session cookies may be kept on the device in connection with the browser session; persistent cookies may be kept until their set expiry date or until deleted by the user. First-party cookies may be placed by the website, and third-party cookies by the external service providers used. The lifetime of a cookie on the device is not the same as the period for which the provider retains its server logs.
The specific cookie name, provider, domain, category and expiry information can be reviewed in the site data section of your browser. For server logs not shown by the browser, HttpOnly cookies or processing in third-party environments, the relevant disclosures of the provider should also be taken into account. The technical lifetime of cookies may vary according to provider configurations.
Personal data may be transferred to Shopify, Google, Meta and other service providers that provide the relevant function, limited to the purpose and legal ground. The possibility of cross-border transfer is additionally subject to the conditions of Article 9 of the KVKK. Consent obtained for a cookie operation requiring explicit consent does not replace the safeguard mechanism required for regular cross-border transfers.
6. Managing Preferences
For non-essential technologies that rely on explicit consent, a separate choice must be offered before use, rejecting must be as easy as accepting, and consent must be capable of being withdrawn later. Pre-ticked boxes, silence or merely continuing to use the website do not constitute explicit consent. Preferences requiring consent cannot be made a precondition for shopping.
Where a cookie preference screen is provided, you can make choices by category, reject non-essential uses and change your preferences later. You can also view, delete or block cookies from the Privacy, Security or Site Data section of your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect session, shopping bag or checkout functions. Browser settings alone do not remove FOEN's obligation to establish the necessary information and consent mechanism.
If you cannot access the preference screen or wish to object to a tracking tool, you can contact info@foenjewelry.com. When consent is withdrawn, future consent-based processing must stop; processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal is not affected.
7. Rights, Applications and Updates
You can exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, including the rights to obtain information, rectification and erasure, using the methods set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK). Requests may be submitted in writing to the registered address, via KEP and other electronic methods compliant with the legislation, or to info@foenjewelry.com from the email address registered in FOEN's system. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
This policy may be updated in line with the services used and changes in legislation. Publishing an update does not automatically create permission for new purposes or for new technologies requiring consent.
